OUR FOUNDER AND HEAD COACH
Lissy Alden, an optimistic yet sometimes-stressed high achiever, founded MYNDY to bridge the gap between academic rigor and real-world resilience.
After graduating from Cornell, she took her skills to companies like JP Morgan and General Assembly, where she helped develop operational and cultural excellence transformations.
However, she quickly noticed that her intense academic preparation didn’t fully equip her for the focus and mental agility required in the corporate world. Recognizing that her struggles were shared by the employees she worked with, Lissy set out to create a solution grounded in science and practical research, furthered by coursework at MIT. She developed MYNDY’s Mental Fitness framework—a research-backed, proven, and accessible approach respected at institutions like MIT and Google. MYNDY provides methods for practicing and strengthening Mental Fitness, focusing on real-world applications to improve focus, resilience, and overall mental strength.
